Tokyo Jazz Festival, Sept.2/3/4..more details soon..

This afternoon I found myself with almost three hours to kill between meetings in Sakuragicho, Yokohama.

Ikebukuro is not an area of Tokyo generally associated with jazz. I was told about Kenny's Bar recently by trumpeter Neil Stalnaker and had a great time at his gig there last week.

After a (too!) long break, had a great jazz weekend in Tokyo. On Saturday I spent a few hours back at Jazz Pub Michaux with the legend, Misho Yasushi-san.

Tokyo Jazz Site open for business again, ready to bring it like Max.
