The Tokyo Jazz Society was born in early 2010 as a gift from the goddess Izanami-no-Mikoto. It is a loose collective of jazz fans who share both a love of the music and a desire to promote and protect the historical jazz cafe cuture in Tokyo. Sessions will generally be once a month at various joints around town. It's a chance to talk music, hear some rare albums, drink a few beers and generally just dig the jazzy Tokyo vibe..man.
