Shinjuku Jazz Walking Tour!

Sign up for a walk around the jazz spots of Shinjuku. I'll show you how to find hidden places not featured in any guide book. Cafes, bars, clubs and record shops; heaven for any jazz fan in Japan. ¥5000 (US$50) per person for a three hour tour (and no, Ginger won't be coming along..) The tour is catered to your interests: we can walk and talk about the history of Tokyo while stopping in a cafe or two; we can hit record shops for some serious browsing; we can go bar-hopping and have a heavy drinking session..it's up to you! We don't stop in any live bars/clubs but I'm happy to give you information and recommendations for live clubs around town.

I also highly recommend the Jazz Taxi Cruise with taxi driver Anzai-san. He does 90-min drives around the sites in Tokyo with your choice of all-jazz or a mix of styles playing on his ridiculously awesome vacuum-tube powered sound system. Read more about him here http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/fl20090226jk.html and then check out his website here:
