Haikara-Tei is another Shinjuku jazz bar that somehow never popped up on my jazz radar after all these years in the neighborhood.

Directions: 
Really easy to find: on Koshu-Kaido south side of Shinjuku Station, walk west towards the Park Hyatt. On the south side of the street, turn left at the "Net Cafe" (past Frigo the Belgian Bar). Walk 20 seconds, you`ll see the "Jazz Bar"

Pres Jazz Bar is located up near the end of "Center Gai" street in Shibuya, not the most likely spot for a jazz bar.

Directions: 
The easiest way to get to Pres/Onyx is to walk up Bunkamura-dori from Shibuya Station, and turn right on the street right before Book 1st. Walk up one street to Center-Gai and look on the right, you`ll see a grey-concrete like building to the left of a noodle restaurant. You`ll see the Pres sign lit up above. The entrance to Onyx is around the right side, the same building as the Aldgate British Rock pub

JBS is easy to find; walk up Dogenzaka street in Shibuya and turn left when you pass the entrance to Mark City. Walk 30 seconds and look up, you`ll see the white sign on the second floor
